Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in the southwestern Karnataka state of India, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. 1. Mysore Palace

The erstwhile residence of the Mysore royal family, the Mysore Palace is an extremely breath-taking example of the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.
