Initially just 100 square kilometers in area, Bandhavgarh had a population of 20 resident tigers. Today, it has been expanded to an area of 1430- square kilometers. About half of the Bandhavgarh Park is covered with fine trees of the year, while mixed forests are found in the high reaches of the hills. The sections of bamboo and grasslands extend to the north. The main wildlife viewing is still done at the core of the park with its 30 picturesque, wooded hills.

Walking through Bandhavgarh National Park on an elephant back, the chances of seeing a tiger are quite good. Other wild attractions include the Nilgai, Chausinga, Chital, Chinkara, wild boar and sometimes a fox or jackal.
In Bandhavgarh National Park, visitors can get back on elephants besides four-wheelers. A forest department guide at Elephant Safari always comes with guests who will guide and guide the flora and fauna of the park. बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान अपने प्राचीन नाम से बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान क्षेत्र में एक प्राचीन किले से निकला था। यह राष्ट्रीय उद्यान एमपी मध्य भारत के विंध्यन पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं से संबंधित है और यह देश में बाघों की आबादी का उच्चतम घनत्व रखता है। अब बांधवगढ़ नेशनल पार्क में लगभग 48 से 55 बाघ हो सकते हैं।
बांधवगढ़ नेशनल पार्क के घने जंगल, चट्टानों और लकड़ी के विंध्यन पहाड़ों से घिरे एक कटोरे में बैठे हैं, और इसके मैदानों में घास और ईख के आच्छादित गीले मैदान हैं, जहां किंगफिशर गोता लगाते हैं और एग्रेट्स उथले में छिप कर बैठते हैं।
ऊपर, गिद्ध सरासर चट्टानों में छेद में घोंसला बनाते हैं।

Bandhavgarh National Park derived its very name from an ancient fort in the Bandhavgarh National Park area. This National Park belongs to the Vindhyan mountain ranges of MP central India and it boasts to have the highest density of tiger population in the country.
